Lean Excutive
- Role & Responsibilities:
- LEAN philosophy advocator
- Develop in-depth understanding of Enterprise Lean Sigma philosophy and methods as demonstrated by successful training and certification in these areas.
- Communicate Lean group’s philosophy, vision and expectations.
- Identifying opportunities for CIP
- Collect process cycle time and machine downtime data.
- Analyze system throughput bottleneck and make design improvement recommendations.
- LEAN implementation
- Successfully initiate, facilitate, lead and implement projects assigned with ROI justifications for change toward
+ Enhancing of productivity via manufacturing process optimization including eliminating waste
+ Cost reductions without compromising on the quality standards
+ Safety & potential safety hazards
+ Quality
+ Customer satisfaction
- Motivate others to accept process changes and take ownership.
- Manage projects to complete through product continuous improvement
- Track and report on project Continuous Improvement metrics
- Develop and implement project plans to achieve Future State
- Sharing best practices on CIP
- Drive efforts on applying best practices.
- Lead value stream mapping exercises to determine and record business improvement areas.
- Evaluate various improvements that need to be done and create value analysis and to continuously look out for ways to reduce the costs in the engineering and manufacturing applications
- Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Completed a formal training in Lean/Six Sigma or possessing certification in Six Sigma and/or Lean Manufacturing will definitely be preferred and have an edge over the rest of the candidates.
- A demonstrated working experience of Lean/Six Sigma in the manufacturing field with good project management skills would prove to be a huge plus.
- Understanding of wires and cables preferred, but not required.
- Ability to understand production processes and should be aware about the production operations
- Ability to follow all the quality standards guidelines strictly
- Work towards increasing the efficiency and safety of the manufacturing system.
- Ability to analyze manufacturing data and propose changes leading to higher efficiency, productivity & safety
- Strong communication, presentation & interpersonal skills to interact with all areas of business to lead change.
- Multi-tasking skills are required to manage multiple projects and various project activities.
- A team player and understand motivating a team member into lean environment.
- Self-motivated to implement goals with little supervision.
